Is there a good place in the Pewaukee or Waukesha area for such a deed?

I'm sure NAPA could do this. Not sure if Advance Auto has the equipment at the Peewaukee location.

Most parts stores can turn rotors or they have an arrangement with a machine shop to do them. My local NAPA store has about a three hour turn around. Although you could probably get it done faster if you pushed them.

Does it matter if the rotors are the Porterfield Cyro'd variety?

Certain places will tell you that if they are cross drilled or slotted they can't be turned. other places will turn them.

cryo is just a treatment done to the steel where the temperature is changed drastically in a relatively quick amount of time to "re-align" the crytsalline structure in the metal.

at least, that's what I was always told. feel free to correct me if anyone knows more.
