so, I think I know where the leak in my brakes are, seems to be the ABS pump (if that is what is on the passenger side, above the wheel) and there is a ton of fluid pooled up in there. After fighting off the Raccoon that decided he wanted to see what I was doing in my driveway at night, I removed the inner covers in the passenger fender and found a nice pool of brake fluid. How do I get that thing out so I can see where the leak is? SJ, you wanna come take a look? RA isnt looking good for me this weekend.

you cannot turbo a car that cannot slow down. This would be illegal.

That's pretty much the nature of dawg-gone near everything I touch -- from the batmobile, to the house, to guitars and amps, scheduling all this crap the kids do -- if it ain't one thing, it's another. Best, SJ

SJ wrote: ttangel wrote: you cannot turbo a car that cannot slow down. This would be illegal. I don't think that has ever stopped YOU before Linus. Best, SJ BS. My very first mod was slotted rotors and better pads. wild I know. I knew a guy with a C4 vette that would stop out by my uncles. he had a MEAN and NASTY vette. stock brakes. almost killed himself. I learned my lesson through him. My next mods were a K&N FIPK, 3 console gauges, GReddy BOV, and full exhaust from the turbos back. DNP precats, downpipe, and custom exhaust. That's where I caught the modding bug. (that and a ride in Jesse's car) Fix the pump, and then when something else in the system breaks loose it will be from messing with the lines, or the fact that the new pump is making more pressure than the old one. name of the game. Good luck boys.

ok, I am home from work (this day seemed to go on forever) and now I am heading outside to pretend like I have a clue what I am doing... anyone up for heading out this way and helping, or if you just want to stand around and make fun of me... (I am sure the second is more likely to happen) give me a call on the cell. 262-391-2467.

Code blue, code blue.....
She has flatlined!!
Yeap, the mits is down until I can get a replacement ABS pump, and the auto parts store wants $987.00, that is not going to happen in this life time. So, time to get the Honda fixed (parts on order).
I guess now would be a great time to take the car apart and get it ready for TT conversion, not going to be driving it for a bit anyways.

I'm pretty certain I have one at the shop. You'll have to reuse the relays from the one currently in your car. I'll get back to you tomorrow.
Are you on AIM?
