Hey, I never said anything about spoiling the ending.
But what I can't believe, is that they couldn't find decent running examples of all of these cars... unless they started on monday, and gave up on friday, without looking through there contact book.
I mean, it looked like everyone in the contest had something that caused them not to be ready.
the supra didn't have decent tires, the 3000GT was started RIGHT before the contest, and I can't remember what the Z's problem was. Why didn't SCC use there own z? I remember the guy that built that project talking smack about how it was the cleanest Z EVER, and that it would wax any car driving on pavement... so wtf...?
I mean, props to GT-Pro, and all, but I just thought the magazine article was written in a way that made it look like these cars were less than reliable, and breaking because of age, which I don't believe is true.
What did the GT-Pro car make for hp? I think it was a tad under 600?
I mean it's not like it was winning the ultimate street car challenge. It was "old school brawl." not much of a spoiler there...
Excuse me if I won't hold my breath until the re-sale value of 3000gts starts going up because of this article.
