Alright I go my injectors in on Sat. I have an ok tune right now O2's are cycling though it wants to go open loop sometimes just after 1/2 throttle. Not a big deal since I haven't been able to go out and get any real tuning done on it, but the biggest problem I'm having is the cold start. Greg did you have to add alot of fuel to the first cell to get Adam's car to start.

I don't remember what the exact number was in that corner box, but I know it's very different from the rest of the tune. Remember when the car 1st starts the idel is above 1K, so you need to play with the 1-2K box a little bit too.

somewhere between 22 and 27 for the upper most left hand box.
Cold start sucked ass until we changed sparky plugs after the tune was decent.

So if I start with 10-20 the ECU should lean it it out to what it wants to see. Adam if you get a chance could you look a the 0% tps from 500-2000 on your maps.

Just richen/lean it in 5% increments until the 02s respond. Then fine tune in 1% increments until the 02s are happy. Normal behavior is a lean 02 which gradually increases to .92-.94 volts, hold for a few seconds, then they start cycling. Adams correction nubmers will be very different from yours because you have smaller injectors. Did you set the base correction? Get ready to exersize your starter. Boost leaks will be your worst enemy now.

I think I figured out the cold start problem. I noticed this morning when I started the car I didn't hear the fuel pump turn on to prime the system. So I'll be checking the fuel pump relays tonight. Greg I'll be heading down to Sat. to get it semi-fine tuned.

That would make 2 in six months wouldn't it, matt?
Have you bypassed the resistor with your hotwire?

I did my own version of hotwire so the resistor is still in line. Ya I got you number. Do thing you have time to do some tuning. I could help out with some of the other stuff.

You're #2 on the list.
Do you have a drill? I got a bolt broken off in the O2 housing. It's one of the bolts that holds the EGR tube on.

The point I'm about to make is that when my car blew two relays in three weeks we ended up checking the resistor, and it was out of spec. We changed that, and haven't blown one since...

Nope, no bits either. The bolt that broke off is one of the EGR recirc. tube bolts. Unfortunetly it's one on the O2 housing meaning it'll be a PITA.
