Just found the site on the Free Boost mod by pulling the restrictor plug out of the turbo wastegate solenoid. Looks extremely simple to do and just wondering how many people have done it. After reading the "How To" article I can't see why everyone wouldn't do it. So it looks like I have another simple mod to do this weekend.

but with out a boost gauge are you sure the soleniod is even working?

Has anyone who's done the mod here actually measured the results?

I have a boost gauge installed now and I'm not boosting past 9-10 PSI with the mod.

Unfortunatly I don't have numbers from when the mod was not done since the gauge was installed after.

I boost 12psi with the free boost mod.

Granted I don't hold it, but that's detailed in another thread.

i did it Now i spike 12 psi and hold 10psi and by redline im at 8 psi i hate 9bs
