Long story short I did a TT conversion, it runs pretty good however it is failing Emissions. Im running the stock TT ECU w/ and SAFC so I have some tuning abilities, however im looking for someone to come check it out, see if they notice anything that I might have overlooked. I've tried Milwaukee Mopar twice now however I can't get an answer, if your willing and in the Kenosha area give me a call.. 262 492 3795 or email CCrunner84@baker5.com.. I will pay you for your time as I'd appreciate it greatly to know the car is running OK and safe to drive. -Nick

All... HC is about 5 over CO is about 5 Over NOx is about .5 over Im just not sure the car is running right, im not sure how to tune these things really, just going off guides and it seems to be sluggish to me..

So it seems the car is pretty much just running too rich. What fuel injectors are you running? NA or TT motor? What are you tuning off of? Datalogger or just blinky a/f gauges?

Well I have an SAFC w/ an EGT Gauge, Boost Gauge and A/F Guage (Yes the blinky one that doesn't tell you jack lol) I've also got TMO Logger on my laptop so I can datalog.
Currently im running an NA 2bolt block with TT pistons, NA Heads and everything else basically from an NA minus the waterhousing.. etc etc.
Im using the TT stock 360CC injectors, the TT Ecu and a somewhat hotwired supra pump, I unhotwired it and im using the stock NA wiring which seems to put out a constant 10V+, a little lower than the 13.5 it was getting. I've also installed a TT FPR to help with the increased PSI this pump is creating, sometime this week I'll be getting the gauge kit from IPO so I can really see whats up with my fuel pressure...
I found out why it was king of sluggish aswell, I did a FWD 5spd swap before all this, and after taking out the clutch etc, I didn't readjust my pedal when replacing things like the slave & master cylinder... all in all I had it engaged a fraction so it was slipping under barely any load (clutch pedal arm was extended all the way hitting the little switch, clutch was pushed in just a tad all the time).. lol Car feels SO much better after adjusting it..
Thats about it... What it comes down to is I'm afraid I might melt pistons etc tuning this thing so I've tried to changed everything that I think might be causing it to run rich..
Thanks!
-Nick

Did you wire in the resistor pack for the TT injectors?

Do you have any correction on the SAFC or is it just zeroed out? Are your O2's cycling at idel and cruise (blinky gauge goes back and forth)?
TT's have an EGR setup that goes from the intake plenum to the rear O2 housing. I'm guessing you used the NA plenum which doesn't have it. This helps some with emissions.

Ya SAFC is zero'd out, Timing is set +7 deg TDC, o2's are cycling during idle and light throttle, goes into closed loop once you romp on it and it runs rich then aswell. I've gapped the plugs to .40 thousands and it seemed to help my second time at E-check, i've only got one try left before they want me to pay for this crap. No EGR valve aswell, only emissions equipment is the main cat.. I might end up having to register this in Indiana at my grandparents like our v8 ranger

Lean out the low throttle below 4K. Not too far were the 02's stop cycling, but 1% just before. The ECU will compensate, so you maybe jumping back and forth for little bit.
Being FWD, do you have to do the dyno test? If so, lean out the closed loop mixture above 4K BUT watch the O2's and knock. You're target is .92-.94 volts and no knock.
You will definately notice better gas mileage and more power in doing this too.
How much boost are you running?

Only 6psi boost, which would explain why the car is running rich during boost, im short 5+ psi of where it should be..
