I tried the other day to seperate the old pulley from timing gear behind it. They are like bound together. Any hints on how to pull them apart without trashing the timing gear on the crank so I can put my 3SX pulley on? Tim

Yeh, it can be a fight sometimes to get it off.
What I do is grab the sides of the pulley with each hand and wiggle it back and forth till it comes off. If that doesn't work, squirt some PB blaster on the alignment dowel and wait a little bit.
With the crank pulley bolt and washer out of the way, you should see that dowel inside the hole.
