Well, I found that blue viper with grey racing stripes on the highway last night, and decided to give him a run. the first run we went from 45 to about 130. he had me by about a car lenght. I looked down after the first run and the boost controller said 19 psi and the logger said no knock. so I upped the "set boost" and ran him again. the second time was from about 50~55 to 150 and I had him by about 3 car lengths. the car ran great at about 21ish PSI until all hell broke loose. I can't really describe the sound of the motor coming apart, but when she went, she went. Lots of smoke out the back. It was pretty awe inspiring. So I pulled over to the side of the highway and called Gene's Deep rock towing (They have a flat bed hauler.) And towed her home. I popped the engine. wow. not a good smell. burnt rubber. my EGT's must have been high. really high. So I called in sick to work, and spent the night pulling the engine out. I've pretty much got her sitting in peices on my garage floor. I'm not really sure where any of the bolts and nuts go anymore. I just have a pile of them on my floor. One piston is so bad I just threw the peices away. Bearings don't look that bad, but I'll be the first to admit I have no clue what a bad bearing looks like... I need a new block. boo. So, I'm starting to make up my list up now. Then I guess I'll order the parts up. Maybe now is the time to go big single? I've only had the 500s for a few weeks in a running car... pics at us3s until I can find someone here to host them. http://www.us3s.org/freeforum/showthrea ... #post53575

Nice try. You had me going there for a second. That's a 2 bolt motor. Plus, you don't own a cheery picker. For that, you get a boot to the head.

Yeah Greg, way to go. ruined it for everybody else... I gave matt a gold star when he PM'd me going "rusty table?" came with the oil pan, too! Xwire still hasn't commented. he's the one over on us3s that will call my bluff if anyone will. I have to say that I'm having fun waiting to see who called B.S. and by the way... there was no run in with a viper either... yet... EDIT: As long as you guys are now in on the gag, what can I do with a crank and 5 pistons. hmmm......

It'll be like the UMG all over again. Only, now when you and matt smoke me in a drag race from a green light I'll have zero excuses. Seriously. find some stock rims from someone and get that thing to the nationals.

The tires I have will not fit on stock rims. Unless someone has a set of 18" wheels and tires that they aren't using, I'm going nowhere with the VR-Slow.

wtf? I thought the VR-4's came with 18" rims stock as an option. There has to be some out there.
You need your money back and find a pair of rims that will actually work, and yet this year.

18's yeah, but not with the right offset/width to fit the 275's he already has.
