Over labor day weekend I installed my poly motor mounts, spec II clutch, and my 13t turbos. So far so good - looks like I fixed the oil leaks that I had - where the oil return lines attach to the pan. I still am on stock fuel and I have eeked 11-12 psi out of it. That is about the maximum I can do. I love the clutch and the motor mount sure make you feel one with the car. I have a atr downpipe from yellersteller yet to install - I should have test fit it before I tightened down the precats. I could not get it to fit after the fact. I am going to weld some stainless flex sections into it for ease of install. I also have a maft and ls6 maf to install for tuning. I need some 450 or 550cc injectors yet to play around. It is fun to drive and neet seeing my mbc flatten out at 11-12 psi all the way to redline sam

There's no beer in this set of pictures. I don't get it... At least the mounts are red. Red is fast.

No leaks. That was probably the easiest install. I used the honeywell sensor to set my base fp through mmcd. Can't wait for cbatters hslogger so I can log differential fuel pressure and oil pressure. The hardest part (other than machining the 9b exhaust housings) was getting the coolant lines to fit. I ended up using one of the wrx turbo lines slightly bent for the rear. My fuel trims are hovering around 100% - ever since I had the car they where always 81.3% or whatever the low end was. I pretty sure I was overrunning my stock fpr. I have a walbro pump to install yet. G-Ell wrote: Rob Beck AEM FPR adaptor and M-Spec FP gauge adaptor? Any fuel leaks?

How was the 13t install? What mods were needed? (motor mounts, brackets, ect.)

I would deffinatly do robbeck wrx conversion. It is very cheap and he has all the brackets to work with the 9b waste gates. http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=228909But me being a hardcore diyer and cheap bastard I did it my self. I have access to a cnc mill to bore out and conture my 9b exhaust housing to work with the TD04h 13t exhaust turbine. I also welded up some brackets to hold the wrx 9psi waste gates. I matched the clock of the front and wrx compressor side to match the 9b angle. The front coolant lines just needed a slight bend to work while I ended up using one of the coolant lines from the wrx turbo for the rear. The oil lines hooked right up after rethreading the front oil feed bango bolt and rear oil feed adaptor to a 1mm pitch to fit the wrx center section feed threads. I also slotted the front engine mount bracket to move it over about a 1/4 inch so it cleared the cold side better. I cut about 1 inch off the rear intercooler hard pipe and used coolant hose to make the connection. No more o-ring. So far so good - knock on wood ver fer wrote: How was the 13t install? Have not been to any gatherings but have thought about it. I have only had the TT for a year and a half (had a sohc for a few years before that. I will take some more pictures of the turbos installed tomorrow. sam G-Ell wrote: Planning on comming to any gatherings? I'd like to check them out in person.

If I where a drinking man.... It wasn't too bad - it was a pain getting the wastegate brackets working and the front one is a little to close to the radiator fan for my liking but it works. (wasn't paying close enough attention) The only bolts I broke where on the turbos I was taking off. Oh and the rear o2 sensor siezed and ended up taking all of the threads off the o2 sensor. I ended up finding a tap to clean up the 02 housing and used my old 02 sensor for now. Seems to work just fine. here are some more misc pictures (some are huge) And yes what you see machining the radius in the turbo housing is a carbide 1/4 inch roundover bit used in woodworking. My motto - use what works - I don't have any of the turbos in yet. It was pouring here. http://www.electronicsam.com/images/turbo/http://www.electronicsam.com/images/sam ttangel wrote: There's no beer in this set of pictures. I don't get it... I like them so far - not even scratched the surface yet. (stock fuel). It is one hell of a deal. I got both of my turbos off of ebay for around 120 shipped. The turbine side is bigger than the 9b - it is a td04h. The compressor side compares to the 15g. 13T Compressor Wheel Inducer 1.597" Exducer 2.203" 15G Compressor Wheel Inducer 1.625" Exducer 2.187" I am making the wiring harness for the maft to run it in the cab right now. I need a filter - think I have found one at farm and fleet. It might not fit under the hood though it must be 10 inches long and 6 in diameter. It fits the ls6 maf though. Any one know? Its all fun as long as the engine stays togather sam

maft, ls6 maf, atr downpipe, and walbro fuel pump installed. ran the maf-t for a couple of weeks before I put in the wabro. When I put the wabro in I turned the fp up to 55 psi so my 360 injectors are now around 400cc. So far so good.
Love this car(for now)
