I used to have the eibach pro kit on the VR-Slow before going with the TEIN's.
They are nice and don't cost too much.

Remember, I had problems bottoming out around her place with my eibachs. Lower looks cool, but practicality sucks for busy city roads.
My vote is see what you can find used (3si classifieds) and consider replacing the struts at the same time.
I want to say the springs are different between AWD, FWD w/ECS, and FWD non-ECS. So be sure you know what you're getting. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Brian:
I've been real happy with the Ground Control Suspenison. It makes use of Eibach springs. I have it lowered 2" and think you can go 2 1/2", but as Greg recommended, would never do it. I still have to be careful with 2", but it works.
Just my 2 hp.
Best,
SJ

"How else would you do them?" Rumor has it "people" have tried using everything from braided wire to a garden hose to hold the springs compressed before wising up and going to rent compressors.
