That's funny you mentioned that. So do I now. I actually stopped at looked at it, must be a year or two ago? Dunno. I remember thinking, who the heck is gonna buy that thing? LOL. And look what happened! Now it shines!
Jrink,
I wanted badly to come with this weekend but have not got an inspection yet.
Yeah Peterson's, Tim is a good guy. What is he going to do with that thing? That is a response I hear on vehicles that I've had and helped restore. If some of you can think back who live in Waukesha or saw it, I used to have a custom painted Dark Tiel Candy Green Honda Civic that I got as a Green Honda Civic EX, front damage. Skipping alot. Then it became a Dark Tiel Candy Green Honda Civic with, clear corners, Blue indiglo lights, cold air intake + k&N Filter, Konig 5* 17" rims (ice glaze look), low profile Infinity's, Xenon Side Skirts, Buddy Club back bumper, and Aries? front bumper with grill kit, Euro Tail Lights, Phantom Head Lights, Chrome Wipers, Seat belt protectors and more. When I look at cars, I really look at them for what they can be, and not what they are. Also glad I had experience with more cars, and who to deal with when getting the car fixed, as I knew that all it would take is not doing one thing right would make me room for inperfection. It takes much dedication and patience. Now a honda just didn't do it for me when it came to some things. Nice on the outside, always honda on the inside. I heard a car pass me, sounded like it was doing 75mph, wait it's a honda, sounded 75 was only doing 25mph. IT"S A BUBBLE! When I looked at a 3000GT, I instatnly loved the body, loved the interior, and new that this car has potential under the hood and for looks, and am looking to give it that. If it is two hard to convert to VR4? I am going to have to sell or trade this car for a VR4 down the road. I would love to fix these cars on the side as a hobby.
Meeting up with some of you guys would be cool. I am always in Milwaukee on Friday's. I'll let you know when I get my Inspection. It has been three weeks since I asked for an inspection. Hell yeah on Noah's Ark, Now was it?, to bad I didn't get to go!
"Not what it is, it's what can it become?"
