I'm for sure going to be in Milwaukee, Bryan like 90% chance that he'll be there on the weekend of the 22th. We're hanging at MU with some friends but if I don't do something with cars that weekend and just drink I'll go insane, so anyone wanna meet up or grill out somewhere? Anyone down for that, I saw our member list soar and I've only met like 5 of you so it'd be cool to meet more of the members of this....

I'm always game. It looks like I wont be able to make it to the Mitsu cookout in MN that weekend, so I'll be home. Hopefully I'll have my car up and running, but either way, I love to grill and cruise. Just gimmie a call when you are coming down.

ok heres some questions, when I push my clutch in before it was all nice and smooth. Now like within the last week, it seems like it "jumps" when its almost all the way pushed in. WTF is that all about. And I noticed that my speed has increased by 10mph in each gear. 2nd gear would take me to 60 mph, hten about a week ago(when the clutch thing started) it has been taking me up to 70 mph latley. My engine makes a ticking noise, not sure if its my lifters or what not but when i bring it up to 2 grand it goes away. Any ideas?

the ticking is your lifters and as far as your clutch goes I wouldnt complain if you are gettin more mph out of each gear but it sounds like it might be your slave cylinder, that is, if it is harder to shift into gear. have you upgraded your clutch..

BTW I could come down Fri. but I have to work Sat. night..

its not harder to shift at all, my clutch was upgraded, not sure to what though, it was a 300 some dollar clutch, the mechanic said he would buy a better one then stock so im not sure.

sounds like it just got broken in.. how many miles do you have on it since you had it done??

Well the ticking is def the lifters so no need to worry unless it gets really bad and louder as the rpms go up.

And thats weird with the clutch. I cant figure out why you could only go 60mph in 2nd and then all of a sudden go 70. were your RPMs at redline both times?

ta tell you the truth im not 100% sure that when i was at 60mph i was at red line. I could have been off a little bit. I just noticed that when i raced, redline was at 70. It just caught my attention. Well when im down there ill take you for a ride or something. let you feel n/a fury !!
