Such obvious un-matched craftmanship did not go un-noticed in the judging! I might have to bring my award winning show car/trailer queen up next year too (maybe on the trailer I won't bend a wheel, d@mn MN roads!). In all seriousness, Jesse you have a killer ride. I can't even imagine how much work you have put into it. I proud of ya son!

thats my recent progress as of now. cept the intake plenium isnt connected, its just sitting there waiting for bobk(ek2mfg) to finsh the fuel rails so i can finish putting that all back together. Also, my arc2 with 87mm mas, denso 720cc injectors, denso fuel pump, kenne boost a pump, and atr down pipe are here waiting to get installed!! my throttle body piece should also get powder coated black too, and will try the same with the ek2fmg fuel rail adapter. Goal, nothing polished / chrome. All black with yellow/black lines. its the fury of the crayon box

The engine is too dark get the fuel rails done in yellow. Paint the lettering on the intake yellow also. Jesse, I think you need to get some help. Didn't you say you weren't going to mod it like a year ago?

Matt, Yes I said that, but I was referring to the trunk area and the glove box. I'm not really modding those. Brandon, I agree with Matt. Accent the black with some yellow highlights. Maybe the writing on the plenum could be in yellow? I think that'd look tough as nails. Jon, Thanks, the damn thing just better run when it's put back together. Kinda scarey having it torn down so much. Greg, LOL. I hope so I'm ordering my DR650s tomorrow. My DNP headers and lower intake should be back soon (getting both ported/port matched) from Dynamic. Trans is going out shortly, been too lazy to box it up and I'm also waiting on a vehicle I can use that will fit the box it's enclosed in (24x24x24) so I can take it to FedEx. Ground wires and dual feed kit should be here shortly. I'm starting to think I'll need a Supra pump though instead of the hotwired Walbro. Hmm... Time to check Stealth316 for pump info. That won't get changed this winter though regardless if it needs swapping. With the new setup I'll be shooting for 11.0-11.4 in the 1/4. Hopefully the car with a) run and b) hold together for it. Jesse

You still have those 720s right? Can't remember... 6 720cc injectors will flow 259.2 lph at 100% duty cycle (there are other variables, but to keep things simple, we'll ignore them). A walbro will flow 255 per hour at 12 volts (with a rewire). I've read somewhere that a good rule of thumb is to get a pump that will flow at least 20% more feul than needed. There are several reasons for this... Clearly the 720's are too much for the walbro at 100% duty cycle. However, at 80% the injectors flow 206 lph which is about where I'm guessing you'll be at when running moderate boost levels (below 20psi). I guess we'll see when your car is back together, and we can log it.

Jesee you sneaky little %$#!
DR650's now huh? You and I are going to have a VERY similar setup. I have been set on either 15G's or DR650's and stage 3 heads....
We are still going to have different fuel control and I'm not going to do headers.
I can't wait for a ride in this bad beeyatch!

LOL - ran it last month. Actually broke 110mph trap. http://www.w3si.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=67815Gs are tempting too like you said. Comparable performance for alot less cost. Ah well, I'm gonna stick with DR650s anyways to support the 3S shops.

Belated congratulations on the runs. Very nice times. I have pretty much decided to go with the 650's as well, unfortunately, I have some wheels and tires to buy first. If you want any help on the car let me know boss, I am only 20 minutes from ya.

wow, my project is a lot more work then i planned. i keep buying more things and doing more. figured out where and what im gunna do with kenne boost a pump. it splices into the hotwire power wire, so im going to run that through my int and have the kbap unit under the passenger seat where the stock amp used to be. so the status is going semi slow, put ill still be waiting for the fuel rails to get done then powder coated. also, i picked up some 60mm x 3 cianci gauge pods, with the passenger side. 160 shipped and there really nice just cant wait till its done!!

Brandon, that's a common theme for me too. More work than I had planned, hehe. doh!.. Sanding and prep work is 95% done. Now I'm just waiting for the paint basically. Probably won't have any more pictures for awhile. It'll be the 2nd week of Jan before it's all done. On the plus side, I received my SP Engineering upgraded ECU today. Very cool. Looks like quality work on the inside. Must have used a decent BGA machine for the soldering and daughtercard. More Pics
