Yah know, that's an old rumor that no one has proven. Guys just do it because it seems logical. The truth is, fuel pressure is regulated at the FPR itself. Meaning if the #6 cylender is the leanest, it's not going to be any leaner than where you set it. I don't ever plan on going dual feed with the rails because the single loop is a clean setup. ttangel wrote: will the stock feed and reutrn lines work... I would think they'd be able to handle it. We had the 550s at over 100 percent. if not, it can always be changed later if we can't richen up the tune more... We'll reach the limits of the injectors when the correction is maxed and the AFR starts to lean out . ttangel wrote: So is a new fuel pump in my future, or a boost a pump...? Definately a boost-a-pump. We will need those extra 2 volts or whatever to reach the max limit of the pump. manwithnographicscalulator wrote: btw... injector math about right? Yes. There's more to it, but by your calcs, you will have more fuel than you need which isn't a bad thing.

front mount intercooler and third v-band flange arrived.
31" by 12" by 3" (core 24x12x3)
pics on us3s cause it's easier to post them there.
I don't wanna hear any b*tching about no pics here either. If your to lazy to type in an e-address, then I'm to lazy to post pics. we'll just all have to suffer and deal.
moving the coolant overflow bottle. making a custom one, I suppose. putting it where the stock air filter goes. needed the room for my proposed intercooler piping route.
also looking for an alternative to the stock oil cooiler, but I will probably keep it stock, and watch the temps, and see how it does without an intercooler in front of it.
damn it's cold here.

Move the overflow behind the front bumper by the hood release. This is where they put it in the 98/99s. Let me try and find you a picture.

more pics up at us3s of the whole swap. The intercooler is mounted behind the crash bar, and the collectors are done. Still need the cross over pipes, the down pipe, and the intercooler pipes. definately taking longer than expected. Also the jag is pissing power steering fluid all over my garage floor. I swear if you look at that car funy it gets pissy and breaks.

Update:
well, I finally got off my dead arse and continued this project.
The cross-over pipes are mounted, finished, and hooked up to the collector. The turbo is mounted in the car!
The collector comes up just on the passenger side of the front motor mount. It has support brackets running to the transmisson in two spots, one of which will make it mildly annoying to remove the turbo. but not too bad.
All that is left is the downpipe, intercooler piping, and overflow coolant reservoir.
The downpipe may be more of a problem than originally anticipated. I'm running out of room under the oil pan, so we are goin to get an oval shaped 3" diameter pipe, and use that where it runs under the pan.
I will also need some slim line fans.
anyone know of some good ones?
with any luck, the intercooler piping will be done yet this week.

Hey, still willing to sell all your twin turbo conversion parts for $1000.00? I am very interested in that, and I could use some help with the install.

In addition to a new slimline fan, I am also on the look out for a 3" to 2.75 in reducing coupling made of high temp silcone, as I prefer to stay away from that e-bay stuff.
strapping down a 3" coupling to our throttle body seems a little bit... hookey, but I'll do it if I can't find a suitable alt.
thanks everybody.

turbo is in the car, exhuast to the turbo down, part of the down pipe, and part of the intercooler lines.
pics at us3s, cause it's easier there.
slowly coming together... really slowly.
