Vibration on the highway, so either an alignment or something worse, it pulls to the left.
Yeah she needs to be cleaned badly, I don't even have floormats

I have floor mats for you. If you want them. They are black with red Type-R written acrossed them. I know, I know ricer... blah blah. I also bought my car without floor mats, and needed something fast. They are pretty nice rubber floor mats though, that's why I haven't tossed them. I still use them in the winter in the benz. Slight vibration and pulls to the left. Probably alignment. how are the tires? newer? tread left? they might be out of balance. Tires plus changed the winter tires -> summer tires off my benz for free. They also took my chromed rim from my TT and cleaned it up and rebalanced it for pretty cheap. they do pretty good work and are fast. I've also had a four wheel alignment done at house of ryan dodge dealership. the car was laser beam straight until I brought it to beyond red line and they pulled my drivers side half shaft to put on the rear pre-cat. BOO. I have a shop vac. When I got my car it looked like a sand box in the drivers floor area. I even found an old band-aid under the seat... ew. Not that I can say much, I seem to be accident prone around it also...

The tires seem newer, they have tread left. Adam there's a black MKIV supra rolling around GB now, TT... i think after your turbo swap you should teach him a lesson....

Alignment, warped rotors, worn tie-rod ends xor ball joints... Lots of things. Usually, all of the above. Tires may "seem" newer, but that's very hard to tell. Let's rotate them this weekend.

Ok, so we need to check tie-rods, and ball joints. that should be fairly easy to do with the car a little off the ground. If we're going to rotate the tires then we'll get a good look at the brakes. those are easy, autozone sells replacements if there warped and we feel new ones are needed asap. (I thought the rotors at autozone were only like 35 bucks. maybe those were the cheapies though, and you do NOT want to put any rotors on there unless they have the bolt holes to pop them off after 30,000 miles. or Greg will comlain about your e-brake in a few years. ) I believe that we should also change your spark plugs if we are going to do a compression test. coppers or iridium, I don't care. But I don't think we should button it back up without doing plugs. the only reason that I am not doing plugs is because I'm planing on running rich and fouling, and as soon as I get my car dailed in I'll replace mine. You will also need a upper to lower plenum gasket. you can recrush your old one, but Greg will not be pleased with you. I did it to mine once, and didn't have a boost leak, but that was just once. And I'd like to think that I have more luck than skill. I believe we were going to start up on Saturday afternoon again, the same as last week, but if you want to show up early I'll be in the garage, and we can start checking her out. Active Areo? sure, I can fix that. we'll just pull it off. your gonna need to get rid of it to fit the T-88H anyway... me vs. a supra. Supra wins hands down. my car isn't god's gift to pavement. you didn't get that memo when you bought your car? I think it read something like you may challenge a supra, but never beat it, and something like you may openly gawk at a supra, but must avert eyes when in the presense of it's owner because of his godlike status as a supra owner. That's why they come with targas. otherwise fat heads wouldn't get in.

Had a blast today, and learned ALOT thanks to Greg and Adam.
Big thanks to Adam for the lending of his garage, tools, and cleaning supplies... another big thanks to Greg for diagnosing my cars problems, fixing some of them, and overall just making me feel VERY comfortable with my purchase.
We discovered the tranmission was rebuilt not too long ago, as well as a new clutch.
Days like today are reasons I love this community, thanks guys! I hope the turbo swappage finishes up this weekend, goodluck on it!
