I am gonna try and make this on Saturday, with both my father and Isabelle. It will be her first track experience, and hopefully the loud cars won't make her cry.
No promises, sometimes it's rough getting everyone motivated and in the car. We'll prolly show up around noonish, and stay for a few hours if I can get them herded in that direction.

Hell, I was reading with Zack between sessions today!  If you read the first post, you know they are dumping tons of cash into the track, including the new paddock area, which looks like it will be twice the size of the current one. But, right now, it is mid-stream. That equals much dust and dirt and tons of gravel. Bring the sunscreen (my face is sunburned despite it being cold) and keep your windows up and stuff covered. The track had 3" of snow on it Friday afternoon, so do not be alarmed if you see snow in shady places. It was cold as hell as first, but then the sun came out and the wind died down and it was okay towards the end. The repaving of the corners has really thrown many of us for a loop. Cold temps, asphalt oil, mucho gravel=greasy track. I spun my arse but good in turn 5 my first run. After you figure out you are really dealing with two tracks, it gets better. The new asphalt in 3, 5, uh -- that other one, and Canada suck. Especially Canada where they started much sooner. At least in the others you can still brake BEFORE the new asphalt. It's quite the challenge. I could only muster a 3:05 today.  Nick spanked my arse but good. Nice brakes BTW Nick. Looks like a friggin' StopTech convention (read: must win lotto!). Also, many spins and car offs, many brake and mechanical failures -- it was a full day. I'm going to adjust my suspension tomorrow differently up front and see if that helps. There is track time for sale I'm sure for bargin prices -- please come on out and join us.I'm having a hard time typing from gripping the steering wheel... what a blast!  We have a great group of many 3/S's there, hoping for more of you tomorrow. Folks asked about Aaron and Brandon. We're about halfway up the paddock as usual (look for Jack's car). I need to go find the camera and download the shots now. My dogs need some rest too. So, hope you can make it. Supposed to be a real nice day tomorrow -- 58 & sunny -- but bring layers as it can change quickly. And if nothing else, it is incredible to watch the Mad Russian and all his new toys -- right Phil?
