Just signed up. My family and I go on this trip every year. Now it'll be a little easier seeing as how we are going down with two cars instead of just one. 4 people in a 3000GT + 2 hours = unable to walk for a day after i get out of the car. lol. I'm happy to be going again, see you all there.

I'll be posting the list of sign-ups from time to time. I don't have all the info in one place yet. later, Curt

The route they suggest has you going all the way south to Madison before veering north again towards Beaver Dam. *shrug* If that's truly the fastest way to go, that's sad. As for the fastest way to the Dells from Port Washington, sadly, I'd have to say it would be worth your while to take I-43 south back into Milwaukee and pick up I-94. You could cut across the state on Hwy 60 until it hits I-90/94/39, but being only 55 with towns to slow you down, you'd be much better off going with the flow at 80mph on I-94. 2 hours sounds close, but traffic might make it 2.5. I thought it was about 1.5-1.75 hours from Madison to Milwaukee and then another .5 hour or so to the Dells from Madison. Oh, you can count on about a 20 minute drive from Port Washington to I-94 though....

For some reason I can only get 10 or so of them to go every year. I suppose the drive is most people's excuse. Its about 3.5 hours from the Twin Cities. Its still a lame excuse. later, Curt
