It is a really fun time. And you still may win something. We have a ton of prizes to give away. There are a lot of local DSM and 3/S owners that come out of the wood work for this event. Its well worth the drive. If you stay over on Saturday night we'll probably do a few other things too. We'll take you over to a local cruising strip where they also have a Saturday night car show for hot rods. We'll also have a group supper on Saturday night. later, Curt

Looks like about 360 miles from Milwaukee. A long drive, but I can guarantee it will be better run than that other big gathering we were at. The show is on Sunday, but you guys should come up on Saturday and make a weekend of it. I'll show ya the Minnesota car scene. later, Curt

Hey everyone, I always keep forgeting to talk about the prizes for the All Mitsu Cookout. Brookdale Mitsubishi is providing a ton of prizes again this year. They are really stepping up to the plate to make sure The Cookout is a huge success. I know for sure we have a set of 2G DSM floor mats to give away and several sets of binoculars to give away, plus a bunch of things I don't even know about. Jack, at Mitsubishi Specialties will be at the Cookout too. He sells some nice Vacumn hose reduction kits for the 3/S. He'll be selling those, plus have some vouchers to give away for free kits. QPR will be donating some prizes too. They have some hose kits from Hose Techniques and might have some other goodies to give away too. Stay tuned. I've also finalized the price of the Cookout. It will again be $5. You can pay the day of the show, but it would make my life easier if you paid in advance. You can send me a Paypal to cgendron@mail.com Make sure to include your full name. By pre-paying, it makes the registration process the day of the show go a lot quicker. We are only about three weeks away now!! later, Curt

Hey guys, I still only have two people from Wisconsin signed up. Jesse and a Conquest owner from Milwaukee. If you are planning on coming, make sure to sign up. We are up to 75 cars signed up so far. Mike Willis and Jon Wieman from the Iowa crew are coming. Its time to brush off the old procrastinator dust and sign up. I know a ton of the local DSM crowd. I think there will be at least ten or so DSMs that are 11 second 1/4 mile specialists. Some of them are just insane. There mods list make my eyes blurry they are so long. And only at the All Mitsu Cookout can you see more 3000GT Spyders than the National Gathering. Hope you can make it, Curt

Hey everyone, The All Mitsubishi Cookout and Car Show is drawing near. Its just over two weeks away now. We've got 78 cars signed up so far, and I'm still expecting well over 100 cars to show up the day of the show. Here are a few reminders: 1. If you are planning on coming and haven't signed up, please do so. It helps with the planning of the event and the registration process goes quicker at the show. Sign up form is here: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe 2. Once you've signed up, you can paypal me the $5 registration. Send the paypal to cgendron@mail.com By pre-paying it also speeds up the registration the day of the show. $5 gets you and a guest in the show with your Mitsu and all the food you can eat. Its a hell of a bargain. 3. Bring a lawn chair and an FRS radio. We'll be using the FRS radios to announce the prizes and other info. You don't want to miss out on all the giveaways. There are a ton of them. Thanks, Curt

Hey guys,
So are there any other W3SI members coming?? So far, Jesse is the only one who has offically signed up. Is a 5 or 6 hour drive too far to see this many wild Mitsus??
If you are coming on Saturday, we'll be going out to eat with some of my club members and the out-of-towners at 5pm. After supper we'll go over to a local hot rod car show and cruising hangout. Sunday, the 22nd is the Cookout from 11am to 4pm.
later, Curt

Hey everyone, The All Mitsu Cookout is almost here! Its this Sunday from 11am to 4pm at the Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, MN. Here is a map of the location: http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed=gv ... name=&qty=We've had a huge flury of sign-ups in the last few days. We just got our 100th sign-up!! We always have more people show up than sign-up, so I'm expecting around 110 to 120 cars the day of the show. Don't forget about the reminders that I keep blabbing about. Pre-pay if you can, fill out your car-sign and bring a FRS radio. See ya Sunday, Curt

One last reminder about the All Mitsu Cookout. Its only two days away. I'm running out of things to remind you about. All the info is here: http://www.mn3s.org/all_mitsubishi2004.htmlIf you've signed up, prepayed, filled out your car sign, and remember your lawn chair and FRS radio, then you are all set. You can also pay the day of the show. When you arrive at the car museum on Sunday, drive around towards the back. There will be a couple people there to direct you on where to park. We park in the grass lot in the rear of the museum. Each category will have a sign to show you where to park. Once you've parked, come up to the registration desk, and do your registration. If you've come to the Cookout in the past, this stuff is nothing new. The Cookout starts at 11am, we'll probably start grilling the food by Noon. The sign-ups have just exploded. We have 111 sign-ups. Check out the list as of yesterday: http://www.mn3s.org/attendees2004.htmlThanks, Curt
