Well I got the FMIC & rollcage yesterday, it didn't come with any midgets, so I had to mount it myself. I had to remove the horns, slightly bend some A/C lines, and remove 2 brackets, but it fit. The main hoop of the cage is tacked in place above the rear seat shelf, this is going to be a pain in the ass to install, but I might have it done tonight or tomorrow night. My garage is a mess now and I'm running out of room.... I need to buy a house soon with a massive garage...

There is something stuck in your intercooler.
I moved my horns both to the passenger side right behind the passenger side outlet of your intercooler. they bolt right into some holes there, and the stock wiring plugs right back in. I believe I had to take a wrench and slightly bend the mounting tabs outward. Other then that, it bolted right on.
If you even want to keep them.
Why are you going with a holset turbo again? bigger than a garret? more flow at the same pressure ratio? cheaper? I was just curious. I have a Precision turbo, which I don't even know how to compare to a garret.

I'm planning on leaving that phone in there when I put the piping on. I'll probably see if I can re-mount those horns then, I've got some bad road rage now .. seems to be a lot of idiot drivers around here. I'm going with a Borg Warner S475, supposedly the extended tip compressor wheel technology helps it to flow more than a comparable Garrett turbo. But the price is the biggest factor @ $599 new. A friend of mine is running an S480 on his civic, and I've heard a lot of good things about them. The compressor inducer/exducer is 74.5mm/100.2mm. It won't be a perfect match for the engine, but I'm hoping it'll work out okay. We'll see...

The cage is in, and I got my crankshaft in the mail. It appears to be in good condition, no signs of damage. Even though I'm buying racing seats, I tried cramming the stock drivers seat back in the car just to see if it would fit, and it did, barely. The door bar makes for a nice armrest. Tomorrow I'm painting the engine bay and cleaning the motor. I still haven't received my engine parts I ordered over a week ago.... so I'm stuck until that stuff gets here.

Those bars in the back are going to make it far harder to get laid unless the girl is a contortionist... Oh, wait. I see what you're going for here.

haha.... I was thinking about that the other night actually. I think there might be enough room between the two bars that go back to the hatch... someday I'll find out for sure.

Especially useful when trying to pull an injured friend off a truck that he was trying to hi-jack. Just don't make the mistake of sleeping with toreto's sister. He gets all pissy about that.

I never narc'd on nobody! So once the Fast and Furious 4 comes out, my friends and I are planning on drinking and excessive amount of Beer, then we're going to pile into a van or something to go make fun of the movie and laugh at ricers. It should be a good time!

SJ True story. the last time I went to the theater they had a preview for it. Vin Deisel and Walker again. I think they steal stuff in Mexico or something... that was pretty much all the preview showed. I believe that one of them was driving a buick GN. Oh, and the girl from the first one is back in the new one. burnette. great fun bags. I will see that movie just because of her. If they wanted to make serious cash, it would be her strapped to the hood of something slowly getting nekkid. I would push a movie like that over the 40 mill mark all by myself. They'd have to clean the theater alot more, though...

I haven't been able to do much lately because it took nearly 3 weeks for the turbo to arrive. Now the Manifold fabrication can finally begin. My cats head fit in there pretty well. The obligatory beer comparison shot [/img]
