I will come, thats if i dont work saturday. I just got back home tonight with my new purchase. 91 black VR4. But the best thing of it, i got pulled over coming back for the damn exhaust and sure enough it was the last cop i saw coming back on I43. Lucky i only got a warning, but i still need a job to see that i have changed it. But hopefully i dont have to. I hope i can see ya guys and get ur opinions on the car.

Hey guys, Finally managed to get a weekend off, so I'm in this sat, too. Gotta tighten up my alt and ps belts anyways. Let me know what time you guys plan to be there.

Okay... Here's the signup list for possible attendees Saturday at my house.
1. Master_D (Milwaukee area) 2. Sweet Stealth (Green Bay area) 3. R/T Brian (Green Bay area) 4. J-Rock (Green Bay area) 5. My94r/t (Milwaukee area) 6. G-Ell (Madison area)
Add your name to the list if you feel like coming over... Depending on how many show up, I might ask a few people to bring some grub/beer. Not sure yet...

awwwww shit another black 1st gen in Milwaukee!! Congrats on the purchase j-rock. I hope you can make it on Saturday, I'd love to see the car. Thanks to everyone else who is stopping by to help that's really cool that you guys are taking time out of your schedules to help out yer fellow 3s bruthas I called renner yesterday and some chick said that she had the gaskets for the precat in stock but I won't know for sure till I go down there cause I had to explain to her 3 times what a pre-cat is. but anyways here's what I plan on bringing please let me know if I'm leaving anything out. 1) The infamous precat drill (Ready for round 3) 2) 2 or 3 wood boring bits 3) the precat 4) new O2 5) precat gaskets anything else?

Tools... and vice grips in particular. I have pretty much every tool we'd need, but bring whatever you can JUST incase I don't have something. I'd like to try ripping the rear precat out from the top of the engine bay. I think it can be done without too much hassle. I know shops like Kuettner pull it from the bottom, but I've read up on 3SI about it and from the top seems like it's the easiest way IF we can remove the rear heat shield. Spray the heck out of all those bolts back there with PB Blaster starting NOW. Do it when the car is cold. There's a good chance if you don't spray it beforehand, we're either not getting it removed, or shit is gonna snap. DO IT.

I'll bring whatever tools I have. I have some needlenose vicegrips but I dunno if that's what you want.
*sigh* I guess I'll start spraying the bolts tonight when I get home. I'm just scared of PB blaster ever since I did my O2s.... I almost crapped my pants when I saw all the smoke coming up from under the hood.

If you're that worried about the PB Blaster, then you can pass if you wanna, I just highly recommend it. Of course, don't hold me responsible if it smokes like crazy and you freak out after, hehe. Your choice.
I'd like to start working on your car by noon'ish on Saturday Rob. Not to mention, when you get the car here, it's going to be boiling hot for at least 2 hours, so maybe the first hour or so can be spent gutting the new rear and hanging out till it cools off...

Well not being able to hold you responsible for my smoking ride kinda takes all the fun outta dousing the bolts with pb blaster ...... hehe.. can I still call ya up and freak out and say "AHHHHHHH!!!.... My car's on fire!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!" I'll prolly be going to a party in east troy friday night so I might just spend the night there and come over on Sat. so it won't be as long of a drive.

count me as tentative. Right now I don't see any reason why not, but who knows. If my roommate decides he wants to get out this weekend, then I'll have to be around to keep an eye on things. Anything I should bring?
beer?

Also my SAFC is set really rich i fugured that out from the 3si posts i read i was running around -15 across the board. So now i have em set at -27 across until i learn how to use the pocketlogger and learn what the readings mean, (hopefully this sat ).
