Which version MAFT? Install party sounds cool as long as you have a decent beer to drink. None of that Milwaukee's best crap.

Who drinks that shit anyways Its version 1.3 or whatever...should I upgrade to 2.01? Also, will I have to hook up the RMP wire? Lastly, should I pick up an extension harness?

2.01 is far superior to 1.3. However, if you still have that AFR installed, 1.3 will be just fine.
Hook up the rpm wire. Makes tuning easier. It's one stinken wire for crying out loud.
It's nice having the MAFT in the cab, but truthfully, once you get it set, you don't ever need to look at it again. Once again, if you have the AFR installed, you already have cockpit control.

I'd rather set everything using the MAFT and then fine tune with the AFR. Would rather have the AFR set to as close as 0 corrections as possible.

Why have the AFR at all then? Upgrade to version 2 (which does 1% incriments), and tune it right with just one piggy back.

I'd still want the AFR to do fine adjustments and certain RPM points
