There's 2 methods.
1) the quick and easy - add a jumper to the relay method
2) the erik gross method
Option #1 has you running 12v at the pump constantly. While there's arguments as to whether this would overtax the fuel pressure regulator (some say yes, some say no), I personally opted for the cleaner method, option #2 which is a better design, and only costs about $10 for all the parts.
On my stock pump, I jumped from 11.65v at WOT to 13.05v at WOT. Quite a noticeable difference while still keeping 8v or so during idle and regular driving.

The fuel pump rewire mod is a good mod, but you dont necessarily NEED it. In fact, if you dont need it, it COULD hurt your engine performance at WOT by providing more fuel than you really need.
