The DR1000's seem more than capable of running 9's, but as was stated in this post his fuel is limited. Why not take the next step and bump things up?
Obviously he doesn't need those tools to run 10s, but what about 9s?
Just food for thought.

I'm sure he's considering another option for feul control now.
I agree with you Brett.
The impression I get from Matt is he's out to build the ultimate street car. One that can be driven to and from work like a regular car and not trailored to the track. All of his cars have full interiors, stereos, AC... all the creature comforts. This is why his white 92 has sat for so many years, site unseen and forgotten about. He openly admitted to me, he has no wish to build a deticated track car at this time.
My defination of a street car is "bolt on" mods. A standalone isn't exactly something the average joe is going to use in a car they drive to and from work. The "standalone" cars (3/S) haven't ever
proven to be any better in the 1/4 mile than the "piggybacks". Will Matt now make the switch? Can't say... I doubt it.
Until now, we've never known the true limits of what we have already available to us (the ARC for example). I'm sure Matt realizes this and is looking for another alternative. I'd bet he's looking into a way to reprogram the ECU to compensate for larger injectors. This is the latest craze in the DSM world. I have my hopes set high for Shiver's version of the
DSMlink for our cars. This, combined with all the piggy back controlers out there, will really break new grounds.
Okay, now I'm preaching... Better stop here.
