Questions about tuning my car, its a 1994 VR-4, power goals are around 400-450 wheel for starters.
I want something that is easy to work with and something that I can learn to tune with without blowing my car up. To me these cars seem A LOT tougher than my Subaru engine so the tune can be a little off and it will still survive. At some point I intend to go AEM EMS and just have a shop tune it but for now I'd like to start with piggy backs.
I have a hand held halo for starters (have to find it though damn it) I assume I need:
1. Something to datalog HHH 2. Fuel control (Thinking AFC NEO? / other suggestions) 3. Boost control (AEM True boost? / other suggestions) 4. Timing control. (no idea)
thanks for the info.

Emanage blue will do AFR and timing and you can pick them up pretty reasonably now.
Just pick up a cheap palm and get the logger software.
Emanage isn't difficult to use at all. You could also go Emanage ultimate and go speed density, but I stopped reading much about that stuff so can't tell you how the results turned out.
I do know that our cars take to the emanage blue quite well.
You could also go MAF-T (I think that's right) and to timing and fuel control, but I don't know much about that. I believe there are other people running it on the board though.
