Darcy is still having trouble posting here (must a Canadian Security thang) and asked me to post this for him:
"Know anyone using Pulstar pulse plugs in 3S? Feedback? Supposed to be 10 times the spark as a platinum.
I just perused an ad for them in a sports car magazine at my doctor's office while waiting to see him, and thought it might be the 3S answer to blow out on spark with our boost cranked up."
Anyone? Fry? Bueller? Ninja?!

pulsar? I think they run those bad boys on the NCC-1701-E.
its a sovereign class battlecruiser. 0-60 in 3.0 seconds. top speed warp 9.875 or so, governor limited.
Also pulsar = highly magnetized rotating neutron star.

I shouldn't give him crap, I'm drinking Guinness like it's water right now as well. Maybe it is the NG prep, only it's psychologically for me! So, back on topic (I know, I know, not our style), nobody even heard of these damn plugs? SJ

I've heard of them, but unless you're running a heavily upgraded car I wouldn't waste the money on them.

There are many factors in spark blowout, only one of which is the plug. The coils and wires also play a large part in the quality of spark you achieve. I'm not sure how much these things are, but if they're more than standard copper plugs I wouldn't waste the money.
You can always gap your coppers (or plats) down a bit to compensate for blowout as well.

I agree with ol' unclebenny. The plugs aren't the most important factor in the blowout issue, except for perhaps having the correct gap. NGK coppers work great.

You can always gap your coppers (or plats) down a bit to compensate for blowout as well. They're something like $25 a pop. Untill I see proven dyno results I will stick with copper plugs. I can maybe see these being effective if you have upgraded turbos/fuel, etc to help ignite the denser mixture but most TD04 setups should be fine with copper plugs and stock ignition system.
