got a question are the sohc and the dohc transmissions different? cause i just got a trans and got it in and the half shafts dont fit inside the new one. im so lost and now said im running outta time to get it running before the UMG!!

also are the first gens and the second ones different? i dont wanna buy another one and have it not be the right one.

my shafts are the big ones im guessing cause they were to big for the holes on the new transmission.

No difference in SOHC or DOHC trannies. You probably have a 91/92 tranny that you're trying to fit your 93+ axles into which doesn't work.

You'll either need to get 91-92 axles or replace the differential in the transmission. Do you still have the tranny that you pulled out? You could use the diff from that and buy new axle seals...

i have a 91 stealth so how do i have 93 axles? maybe someone else did a swap or something... this car seems to be parted together with many different 3s parts.. eh whateve...
i still do have the old trans is it hard to switch those out? i do have automotive experience so i think i could do it but i wouldnt wanna mess it up. the trans that blew up i seriously mean blew up half the bottom is missing and 3 gears fell out ill get pics up tommorrow lol

the part that blew up was your differential... Send a pm to TitleistGTO, he had an extra set of first gen axles lilke 2 years ago. Otherwise you could see what Autozone or Checker charges, or maybe even Slimsunny can hook you up through rock auto. good luck

lol dam thats what i thought... also i noticed that the wiring is different on the new trans to any suggestions on that? i think im gonna end up looking for a new trans for mine well used.
