need some one with a TT near me to help me trouble shoot my car. tach isnt working so id like to swap my ecu into sopmeones car to see if it kills their tach as well to help pin point the problem. i live in janesville wisconsin. names joe, willing to meet up. some have suggested take it to jeff; i already did for my 120k, clutch, and flywheel. he suggested i do this. have a 93 vr-4.

I suggested he try this for two reasons:
1) Everything else on the car is stock, not been altered, and looks to be in original condition.
2) ECU has already been rebuilt (2003), and now has the markings of a large, black explosion (size of a quarter) on the inside.
Seems like a good place to start, as it's showing signs of damage.

I'll be heading up to Oconowakasomething this afternoon. I'll throw that ECU in my trunk, you can call if your available today, and able to give me directions and we can try this ECU. I'll also snag my datalogger just in case. My cell# 262-716-7444

Yah, my car hasn't been on the road for a while. My father has a 93 red rt... What side of town to you live on?? Don't think I'm crazy or anything, I'm just really curious as to why I've never seen yah. There are only a handful of 3/s's in Janesville. I don't know of any other TTs in this town, honestly I didn't even think there was ONE... bah.
