I did a few searches and couldn't find the info. I know someone here posted how to adjust the idle.
First I finally got my 93 VR4 back on the road for the summer!!! Polished intake, valve cover and new Y-pipe. I plan to do a pressure test tonight to see how things shape up.
Anyway, last night I noticed the car's idle was pretty low maybe 500rpm. It would stay running but was close to stalling. This morning it was idling better more normal around 750rpm. Need batteries for my logger so I can see what the RPM actually is. I know there is a simple way to adjust it but can't remember what pin on what plug gets grounded. I think you ground one pin and then you can adjust the idle screw, right? I don't plan on adjusting it right way I just would like to know if how if I do need to kick it up a bit. Thanks for your help!

Good luck, I'm 0-for-2 on this one. It's pissing me off.

Ground pin 10 on the OBD1 port. You also need to ground the timing connection, its up near the battery, a light brown terminal, only 1 pin inside. Once you do that you should be able to adjust your BISS. Check your TPS aswell, make sure its closing properly. Heres a more detailed version: http://www.3si.org/wiki/index.php/Idle_Speed_Adjustment

Thanks for your input. I'm in Georgia on Business and drove my car from Iron Mountain, MI to Green Bay to fly out on tuesday. Car ran fine, idle seemed to be fine now (750 rpm), no idea why it was idling so low. I did a pressure test before I left and a huge leak in the throttle body gasket so I need to pick one up.

I wouldn't rely on the tach. What does the logger tell you?

Right now the idle seems to be O.K but I still need to get the logger hooked up. It had dead batteries, I just put in new ones and did a hot sync so now I just need to hook it up and see where its at.
