NGK-R PFR6J-11 Checker says they can find THREE -- only THREE -- and they want $22 each? Tried to talk me into NGK Iridium, but changing plugs for me is a real PITA with the strut bar: BKR6EIX-11 -- $6.95 each. Autozone hires dickheads. Found 20 at Bumper-To-Bumper Parts Hut (always call Sunsent store and ask for Judd, drives a Galant VR-4, very cool), so I ordered 12. Dis sux. SJ

Judd is a good guy. I took all my companies engine machine work to him when he was at there other store. He convinced me to buy my 93 vr4 - wait - I'll have to rethink that good guy thing! (kidding) He was always helpful and knows his stuff.
SJ - I have a spare set of new plugs if you need them in a pinch but there Denso IK-24 Iridium. Scott

No, they are the platinums. $22 each damn you can get them cheaper than that from 3SX and that includes shipping. Get the coppers it can't be that much more work to remove the strut bar.

Sorry -- meant to say, right before my nervous breakdown, that I found the same (Laser Platinum's) at Parts Hut for $13/each. Won't be shopping at Checker or Auto-de-de-de anymore. Ver fer -- the strut bar is a biotch -- come help! Thanks, SJ

Thanks for the advise Amad, but the others are already ordered. These have lasted a good long time and look great, and I wouldn't change them unless I was going to be in there to begin with changing out the wires. Thanks, SJ

I don't think finding the stock platinum plugs for a good price is very hard. I know our local Advance Auto still sells them. I think they are only $10-$11 a piece.
Sounds like you just talked to some crappy people SJ.
later, Curt

later, Curt Yeah, Checker used to be good, but my main contact there took a job in Scottsdale and this new crew is right from the Mind Mencia... And the Auto-de-de-de guys are just plane a PITA anymore. I think they think they are a speed shop or something. I was just surprised it took as along as it did to find them and then the low quantities these guys are reporting -- and the HUGE price difference. I mean, WTF? Oh well, they're here now, just need to go get them. Thanks, SJ

Mind of Mencia guys!! LOL....de de de......
When I was at the GB gathering (Adams) last fall. I had to get some antifreeze. He told me where to go and was surprised to be one of the only non-mexican people in the place and there were a lot of customers.
People were even working on their cars in the parking lot...Interesting!
But it was good and quick sevice!
