So as some of you may know, my car has been at Jeff's place for a new shortblock, head rebuild, and 19T install etc..

The goal is to have the car up and running before my Wedding on Sept 1st. Everything was going as planned until I was informed tonight that there is a bad exaust leak which sounds like it's coming from the rear of the engine.

Though unconfirmed as of now, our first suspicion is a cracked rear exaust manifold. The turbos were replaced with Rob Beck converted 19Ts and new gaskets were put in for the precats as well as an ATR Downpipe and new gaskets for that.

I hope to know more in a few days when Jeff has had a chance to verify where the leak is coming from.

As of now I was told the car sounds like "A$$", not something I want to drive away from my wedding in

So a couple questions, does anyone on here have a spare rear exaust manifold they will sell me upon the verified need? And is it possible to weld the stock manifold or will that be a garaunteed non fix?

Well, I'm sure Jeff will get it taken care of for you. If you need any parts, I can procure them and overnight shipping is $12.

I don't exactly know what the situation is, but the biggest problem I have with the ATR downpipes are the rear flange. It's hard to get them to seal right with the O2 housing. One thing I do is either double up the gasket for just that flange or buy a thicker one.

Nothing new to report. Still job hunting and working for free.

Good news is I'm almost finished with Brandon's motor (piston ring finally came). Just waiting for those parts that we supposedly have and I just don't know where they are...

I've also got a couple side jobs comming up for friends out here, and Joanna's sister is trying to get me a job where she works. Jesse also put in a good word for me at IPS and Aaron sent me an app for new positions opening at Wolf. Things should hopefully be getting better soon.

Which also reminds me (and to bring us back to topic), Jason, no word on that guy from Janesville on that Maroon stealth. So, I doubt I'll be able to get out there for your Wedding. Hope things go well, and send me out a few pics!
