Ok guys, this is a call out to all of you, (Adam, you and I have already talked but feel free to jump in) I am looking for used parts (in good shape) for my twin turbo conversion. Yes, I know I was going to go single turbo, but for what I am looking for, I think this will be better in the long run. So, I am asking for stock parts off of TT's that you might have laying around that need a new home. Biggest things I am looking for: - 9b's -- Would rather have them in good working order, but I can deal with a rebuild if needed. - Stock intercoolers and piping - TT exhaust manifolds, precats and downpipe - TT exhaust (Adam, you have the list above covered with your parts??) - TT front motor mount - TT Oil cooler - TT Oil filter housing - TT water housing - stock TT injectors - fuel pump I would like all of these parts from 2nd Gen cars, as mine is a 94, so I think those will cause less headaches. I know there are other parts I am going to need, but those are the big ones. Thanks guys, lets see what we can do.

Quote: *sits back idlely and whistles* yes Greg, you can chime in on this one too, if you got parts, which i am sure you do, let me know.

yes, I can help you out with all that stuff.
I also have the stock pump, injectors, and water housing, if you want them.
What about the Plenum. I'm not sure if you want to mess with the intercooler pipe, and keep the NA plenum, or get a TT plenum. (I'm also unsure how the throttle body and nipples will effect you.
Also, plan on a boost controller. I assume your doing a 10 to 1 conversion?
I wouldn't get a stock BOV. I have my GReddy, but you can buy a knock off for about 35 bucks on E-bay. I'm not gonna get into the differences can of worms.
also need a fuel controller.
and resistors for said injectors.
anything else that I have blatently missed Greg?

Linus:
I thought the only difference in the throttle body was all the crap (vaccum reduction) we take off ours -- no?

I believe so, but don't know for sure what is all invovled with the NA plenum. I thought they had two lengths of runners which switch for torque or something.
I have no idea how much other stuff you would have to change in an NA to get a TT plenum on.
That is the only reason I mentioned that stuff. If you don't switch the plenum the intercooler pipe will hit the drivers side of the NA plenum.

Quote: I also have the stock pump, injectors, and water housing, if you want them. Yes, I would want the injectors and the water housing. The fuel pump I have covered as well as a boost controller, BOV and fuel controller and all kind of cool gauges to go with them. Quote: I assume your doing a 10 to 1 conversion? Yes, I am doing a 10 to 1 conversion, and to start out I am going to run at wastegate pressure of 6psi, get the bugs work out, and then see how high I can take it up. I also think I am going to try and keep the NA plenum to help keep the low end torque, I know I will have to find a way to modify the rear turbo intercooler pipe. Quote: and resistors for said injectors where do I get these??

parts car, radio shack, or run with out them. some people do, but I believe it's hard on the ECU and the injectors.

you can order almost any electronics stuff you need from digikey.com.
Good luck!
Are you going to use TT heads and cams?

Quote: Are you going to use TT heads and cams? I have no plans to change anything with the internal components of the motor at this point. Quote: What are the resistor specs needed? looks like 6 Ohm 10W from what i can see at this point.

I would use the stock resistor pack it would be best if you could get both sides of the connector I don't think the harress it the same and you will have to splice it in. If not goto Digikey or Mouser Elcetronics either one should have them.

I think it would be a cleaner install to use the stock resistor pack, but I am not against building my own if i can find a good place to splice into the injector wires.
G-ell, can you get the stock resistor pack, and maybe a harness off of a '94? Are the plugs the same on the ECU and the wire harness between a NA and a TT?
