Hi guys, it's been a while since I've been here. Got a few new problems with my '92 Dodge Stealth R/T NA DOHC. Any help or ideas are welcome...
a).Had it parked for a couple weeks with the e-brake on and when I went to move it the e-brake kind of stuck and then released hard, seemed to be stuck on the rotor. Then the yellow antilock light came on in the dash and I can't make it go out. I have unhooked the battery, changed the rear brake pads, but still the light remains. How to reset???
b).For a while I have noticed that my coil pack leaks a little voltage across the six plug terminals but never really ran bad or anything, the last couple of weeks if I let it sit all weekend it misfires really really really bad(especially when it is humid in the morning) untill it warms up(about 10 minutes) and then it runs great. The car has sat all this week. I finally got a different coil pack off ebay and put it on today the car started right up, runs good with no visible voltage leakage but for some unkown reason both radiator fans came on right away and wont turn off. Again I unhooked the battery for 30 minutes to see if it would reset anything. But when I restarted the car the fans started right up with it. How do I reset them...
c).The tour/sport light on the dash keeps blinking back and forth, how to stop this.
d).Also need a drivers side window/doorlock switch assembly. My door lock switch stopped working.
Thanks Dragon1/Brian

A: Never park your car with e-brake on for the long term for that exact reason. The springs and shoes are rusty/dusty and can stick when they're engaged for long periods of time. The fix is to jack up the car, take off the wheel, take off the rear rotor, and spray all the joints and springs with PB while tapping with a hammer.
B: Sounds like one of the coils are cracked. I have a spare coil pack I'll sell you. If you can make it to Deerfield, WI, I can install it for you too.
C: That means the unit isn't functioning and the struts are stuck in sport mode. Typically this is caused by someone leaning on the strut caps in the engine bay and pinching the wires. The fix is to just solder the wiresback together or replace them (expensive).
D: I also have a spare one of those too.

I replaced the coil pack yesterday, that's when I noticed the fan problem.... Thanks for the offer though...
On the struts, the wires are on top under the cap??? I probably leaned on it while working on it...I didn't know not to....

I took off the black front strut caps today and uplugged the connectors. I checked all the wires on both caps with my ohm meter for broken wires. All the wires were good and unbroken. I put it all back together and for now it seems to be ok. The dashlight has stopped blinking back and forth, must have been a slightly corroded/dirty connector. I took off the rear wheels and tires, rotors and cleaned, lubed the e-brake stuff. Every thing looked fine and nothing is/was sticking. I put it back together and still have the yellow Anti lock light lit up on the dash... Any other ideas????

My anti-lock break has been on forever, it goes off sometimes but from what I gathered people just go without ABS as your brakes still work fine but you don't get the pulsing like you normally would.

Well, you eather have a bad wheel sensor/corroded connectors, bad hydrolic unit, blown fuse (in the box under the hood), or one of the relays on the hydrolic unit are bad/corroded connectors.
