So I believe my clutch just went out in my 91' manual Stealth. I was at walmart in Depere at like 11pm; I got in my car and pushed the clutch down while starting it when the clutch dropped to the floor and the car snubbed out. Now it stays on the floor and there is no tension. My parents are gone until thursday. I was wonder if anyone had any information/more know how on this and probably will be needing a new *clutch* if anyone has something I can work with or knows anything that will help...
Thanks,
~ Turkey

Have you checked your fluid level?
Your clutch is probably fine. I'd look for leaks and check out the slave cylinder.

I agree. Sounds like you are low on fluid. Check the level first.
Put more in, pump the pedal a few times, then check/add more fluid. You will more then likely also need to bleed the line of air bubbles.
Then check the level over the next few days/week. If it continues to go down, and/or you leave puddles of fluid, then you have a leak and must track it down.
Common culprits are the master/slave cylinders and the short line that feeds the slave cylinder.
Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. Well that's good to hear. Don't really have the money or the time to help replace my clutch these days. My dad has all the knowledge when it comes to cars. I know more about classics (which isn't very much). Neway, the parents are gone on vacation until thursday. So until then I get to borrow their car I guess. I might go take a look at it with a friend who knows a lot more about cars and see what we can figure out. Hopefully this can be easily remedied. Thanks again guys.
