Well long story, here is the readers digest version..... I have been trying to get a correct, working, stock radio for my 95 and purchased two of them.
One I got from a local guy in answer to a Craigslist ad I placed. It was the correct model for my car (MR141228) and works excellent. The only problem is the display does not work very well if it works at all. I did not know this when I gave him the hefty fee of $25.00 (LOL) for it. Oh well.
The second I purchased off of "Fleabay" and is a MB942703 that works great, display is clean and sounds very good, but it does not have the plug I need for my (to be purchased yet, if you have one lets make a deal) 6 CD deck. Also when connected to my car, it makes a slight crackling noise when I turn it on, probably something to do with not being made for my car.
I will sell the MB942703 for what I paid for it....... $20.50 + shipping, or trade it even up for a working MR141228.
I also have an Alpine DC9847 AM/FM CD, MP3, WMA player that came with my car when I bought it. Nice deck, but I really do like keeping everything stock. Make me an offer on this one, or once again I will trade even up for a working MR141228.
I have the codes for both of the stock radios, and the pigtiail is included with the Alpine, just plug it in and play!!!
