Everyone: Ok, we made some great contacts last time (and we'll use those to our advantage at Road America and next year for events), we had a pretty good time and I vote we try again. Keep in mind it could be much busier with that Harley thang going on (Waukesha is even having their own). Ver Fer -- I can ask to see if Bob the RA-starter-man will be there again, but I get the feeling he is a big Porsche hound. Anyway, weather permitting, same deal: 6-9p Thursday Night. http://www.weissgerbers.com/gasthaus/index.htmlMap: http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps2.py?name= ... aukesha+WIHOWEVER, instead of dealing with Gasthaus, or Fazoli's, I vote we ALL drive down the road to Canyon City Wood Grill & Saloon after we're done looking a MB's, telling lies and slamming on Hammersly: http://www.canyoncitywoodgrill.com/ihtm ... rame.ihtmlMap: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um=1& ... 1&ct=imageIt's right there. So, weather permitting, what do you say? Right after the big Mitsu Cookoff and a great way to kick-off the big Holiday weekend as well! Copy the list below and re-paste it to add your name: 1. Banana Mobile Man 2. SJ 3. Uncle Benny 4. Scott and Matt Schultz 5. Johnny H 6. Ver Fer 7. Zac 8. Officer Reagles 9. Aaron 10. Eloy 11. Eugene 12. Justin ? 13. Who am I missing? As a reminder, for those that don't know, it's really located right at the corner (not below Slivernail as the map shows) and you can enter off Silvernail, or behind it off Grandview Blvd. In addition, I vote we try and get there earlier (I think Aaron all the way from Mount Horeb won last time) and park more behind it (to the SW) this time instead of over at the crabby Mexican joint -- NEED PERMISSION? Qdoba should be so lucky! Or maybe Rob will let us park in it! "That other car show!" I tried to explain to him that wherever we show up, there is an instant car show... SJ

I cant really say for sure if I will be there. I am a Harley Nut as my pops works there. I grew up on them and have two myself. So.....I will most likely be all over during the 105th.

We'd better play this one by ear.
SJ So what goes on here at this gathering...? I was thinking about driving down after work, but I have no clue what it is about. And then there is the weather factor.

Amad: It's not really what I'd call a gathering -- we were just looking for a reason to get together is all. The cars are cool and we made some cool contacts, but the folks inside Gasthaus kind of blew us off, so that's why we decided to head over the Canyon City instead. I'm not sure it'd be worth your while to drive all the way down from GB bud, especially since it's getting darker sooner now, but it's your call. And yes, they are still calling for a 40% chance of thunderstorms. It seems lately if they say 30%, it's practically raining already. If it rains, I don't see any reason to force it. Let's see what happens. SJ

Accuweather is calling for a chance of showers between 1:00-3:00 Thursday afternoon and no rain at all after that.
Just informational for those planning to attend.
