I am making almost no progress and wasting hours in the garage. Looks like I have to order more parts on monday...who knows when they'll get here! Dude, you gotta heat that shit up otherwise you'll never get it off. Worst case, adding PB and letting it sit over night, then starting the car back up and running till the PB burns off works every time for me. (note the part about removing O2 sensors before taking anything else off) What are you trying to do with the rear mount? Get the old one out? You need a hoist and to undo at least one of the side mounts to get it off. Having the turbo out helps a tun! Broken turbo studs are worth the $20 at the machine shop to get extracted/retapped.

you left studs that are not the correct thread pitch to fit into holes on turbo. I have an extractor set, think I can get the dang thing out. I have to go buy studs that fit correctly and try again.
I am trying to get the rear poly mount in; I am going to see how much play I can get via jacking the motor up in the rear. The other 3 poly mounts dont flex much, which is causing my issue.
The 02 sensors have been soaking in pb blasta for two weeks, adding more daily. I tried heating via propane torch, no go. They are literally one with my dp.

propane isn't hot enough. Oxycute those bitches.
Yeah, when it comes to motor mounts, always do the rear first cuz it's the hardest to line up. If you have all pollys, then you need to undo the tranny and t-belt ones.

Just called the main hotel and got a room -- apparently the only one available (queen bed, smoking) for the 11th - 14th. They were nice enough to give me the group rates even though the discounted rates were only guaranteed if you reserved before June 11th.
Are most of us here in the mail hotel? (Park Inn, Stevensville)

I have been gone for a long time. when did your car get fast enough to need a fuel pump? I can do that. those are pretty easy. Do you have it all apart, or should I bring "mah toolz?" Emanage is also not that bad, if you have it, I can wire that pitch up for you.

Update: The Duo of Bennethum's got both turbos in today. Left to do: FP install, reassemble the rest of the car (ac, alt, radiator, intake stuff) Emanage *should* be here by this weekend as well. Keys are being ordered tomorow and should be here for saturday. Oh, and Matt, the studs you gave me were the correct size/pitch....I had a hole that was not kosher.
