July 31st 2004 - W3SI Gathering in Green Bay

Is there a better way to spend the day when it comes to the Green Bay Packers, Stealths, 3000Gts, Hooters, and Indy Style Go-Karts? Doubtfull.

The first ever Green Bay gathering was a great success. 15 members participated in the event which means we'll likely have another event in the Green Bay area next year due to the good turnout.

We started off by meeting at Lambeau Field for a stadium tour which took us on the field and in the expensive club box seating along with some history of the stadium itself. The tour was really cool for those of us who had never been to Lambeau before (especially after the recent renovations).

After the stadium tour, we went through the Packers Hall of Fame to relive the team's past glory. Shortly after, we took several pictures outside with our cars and mingled for awhile before leaving for Hooters.

Lunch at Hooters was marked by the intricate words of wisdom by new member, Adam Hafman, who had many of us members cracking up with his off-the-wall comments. Hopefully Adam will attend more gatherings...

After Hooters, the club headed to Kastle Karts and Bay Beach Resort area for mini putt and Indy style Go Karting. These karts were awesome. There was a fierce battle going on between W3SI members Jeremy Garbracht, Dave Lange, and Jesse Rink that will forver go down in Go Kart history at that track - rarely have the track workers ever seen such skill exhibited by these drivers (okay, maybe that's a bit exaggerated!!). After the go-karts some members played mini golf while others just hung out and talk about cars and whatever else came up.

Overall, the event was a total blast and we definitely look forward to being up in Green Bay again!
